One-Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes, 14 ounces
  • 3 cups water or broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm oil in a large pot and cook onion until softened.
  2. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, water or broth and Italian seasoning; bring to a simmer.
  4. Add pasta and cook, stirring often, until tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in cream and Parmesan.
  6. Season to taste and serve warm.
